In order to locate Maxwell more quickly, Spider-Man assumes the identity of Peter Parker aboard the ship. No good can come of this since the ship is hosting a costume party. Dracula shows up to destroy the vaccine's developers because it threatens vampires, and the Maggia board the ship to find it. This adds another layer of complexity. After the Maggia kidnaps one of the three parties, Peter transforms into Spider-Man to rescue him. As he strikes, Dracula takes off the Maggia boss and his goons one by one. Dracula turns back to his hideaway in Europe after slaying the head of Maggia and tossing Maxwell overboard. After circling the ship's hull in search of him, "Maxwell" actually lands on Spider-Man. After rescuing the man, he brings him back to deck. In Dracula's hypnotic grip, he discovers the final Maggia guy who is threatening to open fire on everyone. Stopping him is Spider-Man's way of protecting everyone. Spider-Man tells Maxwell why he's searching for her once she finds out she's a woman. After Spider-Man and Maxwell board the ship, they head to New York to vaccinate Aunt May.
