Jonah Jameson complains to City Editor Joseph Robertson, as usual, that he has spent years presenting Spider-Man as a threat yet that Daily Bugle sales are declining. Robertson blames the Daily Globe's revival for sales decline. He also adds the Globe beat the Bugle on the White Tiger story and has a new publisher, K. J. Clayton. Peter Parker arrives, tells Jameson he was napping, and is told he cannot rest and should be taking Spider-Man images. Parker informs Jameson that he had advised him not to snap images of Spider-Man because they made him appear too sympathetic.
