A woman is worried when her fiance disappears so she asks Torch and Toro for help. She tells him that he has developed a plastic metal that may have made him a target for abductors. Torch and Toro encounter men clad in suits made of the stuff and have difficulty subduing them. The woman's fiance turns out to be in one of the suits, but Torch suspects he has been coerced into his actions when he sees welts upon his back. The true villain reveals himself and takes the woman as a hostage to escape. Toro sneaks around behind him and captures him.
